• We have moved!

Walthamstow CAB has moved premises. We have switched to a new telephone advice and appointment booking service, based on the comments and suggestions of our clients. This means that the first point of contact for clients seeking help will normally be by telephone (see below). There are several ways of contacting us:

    • Phone information and advice service: Our telephone advice line number is 0208 521 5125 and we answer the phones from 10.00am to 1.00pm, and then from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. We have put additional staff onto the phone service, to make it easier to get through. If after speaking to you on the phone it is clear that you will need a personal appointment, we will arrange that with you.
    • Personal callers: We have a reception service at our offices, which runs from 10.00am to 1.00pm, and then from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. The receptionist will explain how we work and can offer information leaflets that may help with your particular enquiry. However. The receptionist is NOT an advice worker. If you want see an advice worker, the only way of booking an appointment is to phone 0208 521 5125, as explained above.
    • Postal enquiries: If you want to write to us about a new or old query, you should write to Walthamstow CAB, Churchill Business Centre, 6 Church Hill, Walthamstow E17 3AG.
    • Email advice: You can email us by going to www.walthamforestcab.org.uk, then click on ‘advice’, and then click on ‘email advice’. This service is only for simple queries.

We hope this information is helpful, and we will issue further updates in the near future. Please note that our advice service is only available to Waltham Forest residents.
