Volunteering

We want Administrative volunteers now

Giving advice to the public is complicated. There are many important jobs that have to be done in the background, to ensure that we work as efficiently as possible. Could you help us to do these jobs?

We are looking to recruit a reliable team of volunteers so that we can use our time more efficiently and see more clients. We need volunteers to help us with the following:

• Adminstrative support
• Explaining to callers how we work
• Answering the admin phoneline and bureau intercom
• Social policy reporting
• Updating our leafltets and books

If you have 3 hours or more per week to spare and would like to help us to serve our community better, then do the following:

• Download and read the documents listed at the bottom of the page which give more information and the application form.
• Email Joyce@walthamstowcab.org.uk with the completed application form or post it to Joyce Mondesir, Walthamstow CAB, 167 Hoe Street, Walthamstow, London E17 3AN - marking the back of the envelope 'Admin Volunteer'.
• We'll take it from there.
