Advice examples These pages are meant to be for guidance only until you can get in to a Citizens Advice Bureau or get other professional help. Don't panic Here you will find simple examples of advice on the kind of problems that we see every day: Housing benefit , disability benefits, employment, debt and immigration problems. In these sections you will also find typical case studies and useful links to other web-sites that can help. It must be stressed that these are only examples of the kind of advice we give. You may have a problem that isn't like any of these but we will still be able to offer help. (There are some things we won't help with) Get help from your local CAB To find out how to make an appointment at your local CAB or the numbers to dial for help over the phone, go to either the Walthamstow or Leytonstone CAB pages. (If you live somewhere else, try the national CAB directory) Adviceguide from Citizens Advice: We also recommend the Advice Guide from Citizens Advice, which is an on-line web guide to your rights and for advice on a huge range of problems and legal situations. Other sources of advice There are also some additional advice sources you can refer to on line or over the telephone.
